Eostre Gangere

Eostre was born into a family of High Elves living deep in Saxon lands 110 years ago. Brought up as servants to the local High Elf leader, a war leader called Henrick, her family supplied clothing to him and his court. Henrick and his nobles were all snobs, even going by High Elf standards, so the clothes had to be of the highest quality. Only the finest Egyptian cotton, wool from the rarest sheep & goat species, and silk from specific Asian suppliers would do.

This made the family quite well-off, though a good part of the money made had to be diverted into the supply of such luxurious goods, and their transport from such far away lands. Her father, Birger, didn't want this for his children having them trapped dealing with only a select few spoiled wealthy few., and forced to travel for long periods.

So he taught Eostre everything he could, built up over the decades, and gave her the money to travel to somewhere else. As a Free Woman, she travelled, first to Aachen to see the city and to pick up contacts and experience the life living in a large Saxon city. After a number of years, she kept her head down when the Franks invaded and she made it her business to learn their ways, and building up further contacts.

Finding that the Franks were wealthy, a massive empire, and with extensive trade networks she thought it would be a good experience to go to a smaller town that is growing. Finding such a place she picked the newly formed townland of Eschbach. Originally a village, Eschbach had been took over by one of the locals called Grimmaz Fyrwin, and the Crown had decided to invest it as a trading hub in central Bavarian territory owned by the Franks.

Despite her young age, at least for a High Elf, she has took to the town. The amount of different faces, the friendly locals, and both constant stories & hijinks happening in the region excites Eostre who finds she has plenty of stories to talk about. She has hired a couple of local High Elves to help out called Stefan & Brynja.

Owning a clothiers shop to the north of the new town of Eshbach she lives above it with Stefan & Brynja in rooms out the back. Calling it "Alfheim's Blessings" she does some trade, but not as much as she likes. So far, Eostre makes clothing for most of the town's elite. Some other trade comes from the surrounding areas, mainly hamlets, villages and strongholds, along with dealing with the Valley of the Black Ones, and the importation & exportation of the best clothing materials she can source from the traders that pass through the town.

When relaxing she can either be found in the Eschbach Swords to the south east of her shop or in the Library run by a character called NINE. Stefan & Brynja are usually found in her company, and most others find her slightly haughty & arrogant at times along with the other two. Most put it down to her age and having a "usual High Elf mentality", especially by the labourers, farmers, woodsmen, hunters & Burgeaters.
