Entangling Ichor

Materials: Own Blood
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

You sacrifice a bit of your blood as part of casting the spell, dealing 1d6 Necrotic damage to yourself, and cause crimson tinged vibes that somewhat resemble blood vessels to rise up and attempt to grab and restrain all creatures in a 20 foot square. For the duration, the ground is considered difficult terrain.

A creature in the area when you cast the spell must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by the entangling plants until the spell ends. A creature restrained by the plants can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, it frees itself.

As a bonus action, you can cause the crimson vines to dig into the target's skin with thin needle like thorns, dealing 1d6 Piercing damage.

When the spell ends, the crimson vines wilt away.
