Celtic Languages

The Celtic languages are split into two main branches, These are the Goidelic and Brythonic languages. The former is rarer but has been less corrupted over time, found in north west Spain to an extent, along with the Gaelic languages of the Irish, Scottish & Manx. Brythonic is found primarily in Brittany (Breton), Cornwall (Cornish), Wales & western England, and in the north & north eastern parts of Alba (Pictish). Both are closely related and some slight deviations occur in every region. Some of the original continental tribes can still be found speaking their own variants with the majority of them speaking some form of Brythonic. It is descended of a branch of Indo-European, having spread with it's people many centuries, maybe even millennia, ago. It uses a form of writing called Ogham, which seems to also be used by many Halflings & Gnomes, and related loosely to the written language of the Feywild.
