Protection of the Deep Ones. The amulet acts like a piece of magical armour boosting. It gives +1 AC protection. Also, if the wearer makes a DC 17 Wisdom check, the amulet acts as a Counter Spell.
Call of the Aberrations. The amulet can be used 3 times a day to call & dominate 1d6 Aberrations of Medium size or smaller or 1d3 Aberrations of Large size or bigger. This can be done in one mile of the wearer, centred on the wearer. These appear within 5 minutes of being used, appearing within 15 feet of the wearer, along with acting on their bearer's Initiative turn.
Light in the Darkness. The wearer can dominate up to 2d10 cultists in a 3 mile radius centred on the wearer. They can be commanded to do different actions by the wearer with them needing a DC 15 Charisma saving throw with disadvantage, to resist it.
Drawing of the Curtains. The wearer has to make a DC 18 Charisma saving throw once every 28 days to prevent random 2d10 cultists and/or Aberrations of Medium size or smaller from appearing within 30 feet of the wearer.. With this, any failure will also result in them being hostile seeing the wearer as being unworthy to use the amulet.
The Amulet of the Deep Ones is an ancient mask made from clay rumoured to be from the city of R'Leyh, along with a moonstone that has been took into the Far Realms and brought back to the Material Plane. Containing the essence of the Star Gods and their related kin, it gives domination of many followers & minions of the Star Gods.
Having lying in the crypts of the legendary temple of the Church Under the Sea, it was brought to the surface with a few similar items, it has been gifted to a cult in central Europe. The Star Spawn Seer that provided it regularly imparts such items to devoted Star God followers, and regularly checks that such gifts are properly used. Woe to anyone who would abuse such a gift, damage it, destroy it, or lose it.
