Sunroot

Found in southern fields in the summer, Sunroot is a golden leafed plant whose leaves release small amounts of conserved sunlight when the plant is ready to spread its seeds, as to both attract insects during the day and mammals at night who can eat it and spread its hard seeds.

Notably, Sunroot leaves are also psychoactive to a degree and are often cultivated, combined with other ingredients, and smoked. The smoke is a golden colour and when lit the cigarettes glow with daylight.
