Mazarus the Owl, First Saint of Convergence
Mazarus and his library were well known to the world. He was custodian of the great library of the Hilt, and helped rebuild it when it was burnt during the retaking of the Hilt. And so, his dedication to knowledge saw him gifted the sword Convergence by Solaris. For the first years of the Owlins sainthood, he travelled the planes with a collection of friends and advisers but soon enough he returned to, Maldrere to help educate the masses.
Mazarus was wise, and well learnt. He traveled Maldrere and even the Vanderrealm teaching language, magic, and uplifting the population.
Upon his death due to old age, Mazarus was escorted back to the hilt to be entombed under the library, with Convergence brought to the cathedral within the city. Its said an entire half of Aesteria wept for him.
Mazarus is worshipped as a minor god of knowledge, of wisdom, and of hope.
