Runic Magus Feats
Earthen Guardian (Tier 1)
The spirits of the earth rise to defend those under your care.Prerequisite : Dwarf Ancestry, Master in Crafting
Action : 3 Actions
Effect : You summon a spectral, earthen guardian that occupies a 10-foot square within 30 feet. The guardian lasts for 1 minute and provides the following effects:
- Allies within 10 feet of the guardian gain Resistance 5 to all physical damage and a +2 bonus to saves against spells.
- Enemies that enter the guardian’s space or start their turn adjacent to it take 4d6 bludgeoning damage (Basic Reflex save, DC = class DC).
Earthshatter (Tier 1)
You channel your power into the ground, creating a devastating shockwave that halts enemies in their tracks.Prerequisite : Stance of the Mountain King, Master in Athletics
Action : 2 Actions
Effect : You create a shockwave in a 30-foot burst, forcing all enemies in the area to make a Reflex save (DC = class DC).
Critical Success : The enemy is unaffected.
Success : The enemy is Slowed 1 for 1 round.
Failure : The enemy is knocked Prone and takes 4d10 bludgeoning damage.
Critical Failure : The enemy is knocked Prone, takes 4d10 bludgeoning damage, and is Stunned 1.
Molten Core Strike (Tier 2)
Your strikes tap into the fiery heart of the mountains, unleashing molten devastation.Prerequisite : Stoneheart Bulwark, Master in Weapon Specialization
Action : 2 Actions
Effect : Your melee attack deals an additional 4d6 fire damage, and enemies must succeed at a Reflex save (DC = class DC) or be Slowed 1 as molten lava clings to them. If you critically hit, the target takes 2d6 persistent fire damage.
Special : If you are wielding a hammer or axe, you can strike the ground instead, creating a 15-foot cone of molten fire that deals 6d6 fire damage (Basic Reflex save) to all creatures in the area.
Runestone Ward (Tier 3)
You inscribe ancient protective runes upon the ground, creating a zone of absolute defense.Prerequisite : Master in Crafting, Anvil Dwarf Heritage
Action : 3 Actions
Effect : You create a 20-foot-radius ward on the ground centered on you that lasts for 10 minutes. The ward has the following effects:
- Allies within the ward gain Resistance 10 to one damage type of your choice (chosen when the ward is created).
- The ward prevents teleportation or planar travel within its radius unless the caster succeeds at a Counteract check (DC = your class DC).
Forgefather’s Legacy (Tier 4)
You embody the might of the dwarven gods, your strength unshakable and your will unyielding.Prerequisite : Legendary in Fortitude, Dwarf Ancestry
Action : Free Action, Trigger: You are reduced to 0 HP.
Effect : You immediately regain HP equal to half your maximum HP and enter a state of divine fury for 1 minute. During this time, you gain the following benefits:
- +2 status bonus to attack and damage rolls.
- Resistance 15 to physical damage.
- Your melee Strikes deal an additional 3d6 radiant damage to undead and evil-aligned creatures.
