Kingdom of Zreg

Dwarves acknowledge clans and their accompanying structures and habits. The chief of the dominant clan is usually named king or queen. In all practicality the Kingdom of Zreg is a feudal monarchy. As expected, Dwarves are the dominant race in this society. All of the kingdom acknowledges the king and pays tribute through the feudal system. The only exception to the tributes is Doliak, all the way in the south. Doliak is a more recent addition to the kingdom. After the brief war between the Kingdom of Zreg and Covencrown, now Covenhold, the Dwarves were allowed to open their mining businesses in the wealthy hills on the southwest side of the large mountain range. Doliak does not pay tribute as it is officially part of the Daerelos Confederacy, but the businesses that operate in the city do pay tribute as if they were part of the Kingdom. The major cities and holds are also home to many Gnomes, whose inventiveness is welcomed in Dwarven society. The eastern part of the Kingdom is also home to nomadic Goliaths who are independent of the Kingdom and allowed to roam freely. The mountain range is officially part of the Kingdom and includes Dwarven and Genasi settlements. The Genasi here are predominantly of Human, Goliath, and Dwarven origin. They are said to be created through the influences of elemental nodes hidden in the mountains by Pyurethoniam himself.
