The Crystalline Infuser is now used in enchanting weapons to gain permanent effects related to the elemental type of the weapon.   Cannot be bought, must be crafted.
Required proficiencies: Tinker's tools or the tools respective for the to-be modified item.
Material costs: 200gp
Weight: 0.5 lb
Time to make: 60 hours minus whatever you roll on an Arcana check (check made with advantage if you've made one before).   Old use:

A Crystalline Infuser is a modification to a weapon, item, or piece of armor that allows the weapon/item/armor to be infused with the magical properties of crystals.
When an elemental crystal is locked in the infuser and activated the infused weapon/item/armor grants one of the following benefits:

You can also discuss a special effect with your dm. For example, an infusion with a radiant crystal might double the efficiency of your healing spells.   After the effect ends the crystal loses its powers and crumbles to dust.   Cannot be bought, must be crafted.

Material costs: 100gp + 50 for every crystal size above small
Added weight: 0.5 lb
Time to make: 16 hours + 4 for every crystal size above small. Halved if you succeed on an Arcana check, DC 12 + 4 for every crystal size above small.
