Ash Valley

The Ash Valley is a large valley on the north end of the Molik Hills. It got its name from the regular wildfires that ravage the plains north of it and deposit their ash in the valley. Thanks to these fertilizing ashes the valley is abundant in plant and wild life.
  Attracted by the fertile soil many civilized people have attempted to make a home in the valley. Unfortunately the wildfires occasionally spread into the hills making it extremely difficult to create permanent buildings. Most people that do live here have made their homes in caves or have dug them into the sides of hills and cover their roofs with moss and turf to resist the occasional ember.
  The Living Ember Tribe have several holy sites in the valley. These sites are clearly marked and most other civilized folk know to stay out.
