Goblin, Mekletekian

During the reign of Taktar in Golzect's Throne, the Ogre Mekletek was able to quietly and effectively establish a group of Goblins from the Warrens to protect and aid those Goblins being subjugated by Taktar's militaristic rule. These Goblins sheltered, fed, or hid Goblins refusing to join the Horde in Golzect's Throne while under martial law. They managed to help many Goblins make their way out of Golzect's Throne and into the North, or to survive on their own across the Northguard Plains.

Goblin, and Sandspeech.

Shared customary codes and values

Goblins are far more than bloodthirsty and rampaging hordes sent to conquer or take indiscriminately. The work that Melchinoopo did prior to his humiliation and personal crusade is important and Goblin society and culture should be embraced across Starhelm, not forced on them.

Establishing Golzect's Throne as a place of trade, culture, respect, and honour is paramount not only to Goblin survival, but Goblin prosperity in the larger world.

The Warrens, in conjunction with the Merchants and the Horde are an equal and integral aspect of Goblin society and should be given the same level of respect and care as the others.

Common Etiquette rules

The unity of the Warrens, Horde, and Merchant castes should be respected and acknowledged. No caste is more or less important. Those of other casts who look on members of different castes with disdain or aggression are to be educated by actions. Violence as a last resort is an acceptable means of persuasion but only after other avenues are exhausted.

Common Dress code

While under martial law, the Mekletekian Goblins did not have access to good, clean clothes, and many wore rags or tattered garments. Now they wear comfortable and clean clothes, but of simple design and practicality.

Foods & Cuisine

Mekletekian Goblins prefer quick and healthy meals to keep their strength up, even after being given the opportunity to eat well. They maintain a good diet, though do occasionally like to indulge in more rich and decadent meals as a celebration.
