The Age of Blight

This final age before the Great Collapse was 2,000 years of unfettered war across Aeris. Nations rose and some fell. Plagues and famines devastated the world. Even the Elves in their beautiful cities starved and died in the thousands. Even the magic users of the Ordo Magia could not hold order and were forced into war by their vow to protect the remains of the Aerean Empire. The populations of all nations were slashed in the millions, both by the natural disasters and constant bloody warfare. Made worse by the magical weapons and biological weapons used by the most powerful kingdoms. Notable events were the declared independence of Anor-Gotha, the Dwem’vera Triumvirate, Krazkow, Vilka, and Anglica. The Praetoran Empire was left ruling Southern Val’Kara. These new nations were forged in the fire of war. Finally after 2,000 years, the Great Collapse occurred.
