Tabaxi are carnivores, even able to digest it raw unlike most humanoids. They do however enjoy some kinds of berries.

Tabaxi society revolved around clans, each with single leaders. As time went on these clans began to join together into the earliest city-states of Sarasarada. These city-states were all ruled by singular rulers called Cathars. This title in Tabaxi means God-Ruler.

Tabaxis find themselves spread across Aeris, most prominantly in Sarasarada.

The Khaja Sultanate

Made by Felis-Cathar alongside the Leonin, these folk served their Goddess loyally and with fervor from the very beginning. The many Sarasaradan city-states may have been divided but they were united by their worship of her. The most powerful of these city-states, Constantia, built the Libris Chronatum with the aid of the Mastodai and the wisdom of Ganeshathena-Devata. Religion became very important in Tabaxi society as the Tarisians decried the existence of Felis-Cathar as a false Goddess. But conflict was set aside when Moraphan attacked and all peoples were forced to flee to the corners of the world in order to mount a final defense. And the Tabaxi jumped at the opportunity to fight back when Sylra Vereth and his Golden Alliance arrived at Aera City. They fought bravely at the Battle of the Red Fields, and a single Tabaxi would make her mark upon history when she led a small team behind Moraphan's fortress walls to aid in the long siege. Indigo Solspaer snuck in, and caused so much damage to Moraphan's defenses he was forced to sally forth.   The Tabaxi city-states would become an important part of the Aeran Empire, but in 4021 BGC the Sarasaradan city-states left the Empire. And bolsterd by the movements led by the Leonin Sultan named Sejaro, the majority Tabaxi Khaja Sultanate was formed. Though on the world map of Aeris' known world the Sultanate is one nation, the city-states within still operate semi independently. And the Tabaxi continue to thrive in Aeris, as the new millennium comes in the species continues to play a vital role.
