Slagstone Fort
Slagstone Fort, built after the Little War to defend the DT from possible western threats.
Purpose / Function
To defend the DT's border from possible threats, military or otherwise.
Alterations
Captain Orellio took command of Slagstone Fort in 990 AGC, and for the last decade has trained and garrisoned some of the Triumvirate's best troops. Not only that but he's made multiple modifications to the structure, increasing it's defensibility specifically to suit his own tactical style.
Architecture
Slagstone Fort is a perfect example of middle modern DT military architecture. More advanced than any ancient fortress it's senior but also lacking the most modern advancements in recent siege technology, it is a functional and straightforward line of defense. Combining the refinment of Elven building, with all the functionality of the Dwarves and ingenuity of the Humans.
History
Built shortly after the Little War, Slagstone Fort is meant as a defense against possible western aggressors, be they Eldari, Vilkan, or Anor-Gothan. Put under the command of Captain Orellio, former member of Eagle Squad, and decorated war hero. Slagstone is the DT's first line of defense against any invasion coming through the Nimina Forest.
