You have no choice. You never did. Tomorrow you'll be wed to a brute of a man and all so that your mother's pockets will fatten. You curse Lianavar but receive in return only an entertained giggle. Lianavar, Goddess of unwanted and loveless marriages. She is the souring of love, curdling it into something grotesque. Love is freedom, but her twisted matrimonies are antithetical to the very idea of love. Delighting in the pain of young folk forced to bury their feelings for familial or political gain.

Lianavar like the other Low Gods was born of Odeus' nightmares during his slumber. She was the twisting of commitment, the absence of love. In the Clash of the Gods she faced Lyra, her worst enemy. By all accounts Lyra was able to fend Lianavar off while also fighting Vak-hal. Lianavar now plots in the shadows. Her motive: Kill love's freedom.
