This is not to say that internal feuds and disputes did not happen, but the vast majority led to only temporary divides, and family members spread over the world would eventually come looking for a reunion. Genasi parents went out of their way to ensure that their children had a chance to interact with Genasi of other manifestations, thereby increasing their appreciation for the race as a whole. This was particularly true for families that were made of several manifestations rather than just one or two.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
The season's solstices were holy days for Genasi
History
The descendants of Telera, Genasi are rare in Aeran societies. There are no massive organized Genasi nations in the Known World, but stories tell of the elemental planar cities. Genasi have stayed to the corners, their clans and tribes keeping to themselves in the lands where few dare go. Burning volcanic ash fields, blistering desert, under the sea or on the peaks of mountains. But Genasi who have joined society can often find a place for themselves, using their special skills to aid their communities. Genasi within many societies stay true to their nature of close family, and will carve out places for their families and fellow Genasi.
Common Myths and Legends
The Myth of the Cloud Cities tells of ancient Air Genasi kingdoms amongst the clouds that were completely destroyed by Moraphan and a host of chromatic dragons.
Legend has it that most of Aeris' Genasi disappeared into the Far Lands long ago, some even say they took in the High Elves when they too sailed off the map.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Genasi are rare but not mistrusted, other species see their elemental nature as inherently honest.
