The Temple of the Four Elements
The Temple of the Four Elements is an ancient structure located in the northeast of the Sandsea, said to have been built by a powerful civilization that worshipped the natural elements. The temple is divided into four wings, each dedicated to one of the four elements: lightning, fire, ice, and water.
The north wing of the temple is dedicated to lightning and is known as the Thundering Hall. It is said that during thunderstorms, the lightning will arc across the walls of the hall, illuminating the intricate runes and symbols etched into the stone.
The south wing is dedicated to fire and is known as the Burning Chamber. It is said that the chamber is always hot, even on the coldest of nights, and that flames dance along the walls without consuming them.
The east wing is dedicated to ice and is known as the Frost Hall. It is said that the hall is always icy, even during the hottest of days, and that the floors are slick with frost that crunches underfoot.
The west wing is dedicated to water and is known as the Flowing Chamber. It is said that the chamber is always filled with a gentle, flowing stream that cascades down the walls and collects in a pool at the center of the room.
Many adventurers have sought out the Temple of the Four Elements, hoping to uncover the secrets and treasures hidden within its walls. But the temple is said to be guarded by powerful elemental spirits, and those who enter without proper reverence risk facing their wrath.
