Rainbow Flashflies
Rainbow Flashflies are a species of bioluminescent insects that are similar in appearance to fireflies. They have a small, slender body and wings that are translucent and iridescent, with colors ranging from red to orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The most distinctive feature of the Rainbow Flashfly is its ability to emit flashes of light in a wide range of colors, creating a stunning display of colors in the night sky.
During mating season, the male Rainbow Flashflies emit a rapid series of flashes in an attempt to attract a female. The females are attracted to the brightest and most colorful males, and will mate with the male that exhibits the most impressive display of lights.
