Frostwood
Frostwood was once a bustling town known for its rich and bountiful forest. But as the years went by, the forest was stripped bare by overlogging, leaving only a barren wasteland of stumps and debris. With the loss of their livelihoods, the townsfolk fell on hard times, and the economy collapsed.
Now, Frostwood is a shadow of its former self. The remaining residents eke out a meager existence, subsisting on what little resources remain. The town is small and run down, with dilapidated buildings and a general air of neglect. The once-proud forest is now little more than a sad reminder of what once was.
Despite its troubles, Frostwood soldiers on, clinging to its past and hoping for a brighter future. The few remaining residents celebrate their town's history with an annual festival, during which they hold competitions in log-rolling, tree-climbing, and other traditional forestry skills. Though the festival may be small and humble, it serves as a reminder of Frostwood's roots, and the determination of its people to persevere in the face of adversity.
