Settlements across The Alliance
Settlements within The Alliance of Aenerion are often found to have large mixes of of races through them. The Council Races are the most prosperous throughout these places but other alliance races are found in varying frequencies across the land. In Large cities the ratio is oven fairley even across all the council races with humans tending to make up a larger portion and in smaller settlements, like villages, the population demographic reuduces to maybe 3-4 races. Although there are lots of places where races mix and mingle there are places that are filled solely by one species through either reclusiveness, xenophobia, or tradition.
Even the smallest of villages have some form of rudimuntary wall or fence, as even though the Alliance claims much land across Aenerion there lies vast regions where monsters roam. These creatures whether large or small, many or few prey upon those that dwell in more civilised areas. From little more than a wooeden pallisade that surrounds a small hamlet to the vast walls of cities, these places need to be defended from the untold horrors of Aenerion. Many towns have large stone walls and it is not uncommon for them to have defences that might seem over the top to the casual traveller, like permenant static ballista, but they have proven effective against all manner of things that wish harm upon those who guard the walls.
