Lycanthrope

Through either swift medical aid, a priests healing touch, or the remedies of a sage, people who are able to resist the true call of the wolf become Lycanthropes. An individual who's first transformation can be managed and in time learn to control that which dwells within them. Being able to transform at will they are greatly feared by those who find themselves an the wrong end of their jaws. Any who display their lycanthropy are often killed by inquisitions if they cannot show their Seal of Acceptance and as a result they are often outcasts and recluses. Some try to live in peace amongst the people of Aenerion, many life lonely lives in the wilds, using their bestial nature to defendd themselves; but many are aften killed on sight, mistaken for a true Werewolf.
