Garruk'Taal

Garruk'Taal is the Half-orc captain of the guard for the city of Handor. He is a stoic commander and wise tactician, holding an unrelenting fever for law and order. Passionate about his causes and brutal in his condemnation of those who wish harm to the town he calls home.
Captured and almost killed when he was abandoned by his parents, he doesn't know anything of his lineage more than he is Half-orc. Found by a farmer on Alder'Raan after apparently being abandoned at birth by what ever roaming war-party last passed over the land, he was pressed into Serfdom. Eventually sold, like many strong serfs, to the fighting pits in Tarvitz to compete in The Pit Games there. Unlike many though he survived and proved a valuable and talented Warrior and was sold to a noble house's sponsorship in Handor's fighting pit. During his time in the pits he became deeply attached to the following of Bahamut, The Platinum Dragon and became a deeply pious man. From this favour he was able to join the town guard and swiftly shone as a stalwart defender of the people and trustworthy individual despite his "treacherous nature". Through piety and dedication he proved himself time and time again whenever called upon and eventually gained his Seal of the House of Darvish to became a valuable member of the community in Handor. Having served both Edwin Lysander and his father he enjoys an unusually comfortable lifestyle within the walls of the town under his protection.
