Elves
Elves come as: High Elves, Wood Elves (Lithlanerai), Dark Elves (Drow), Elder Elves (Eladrin), Sea Elves (Akhelai), and the fabled Shadow Elves (shadar-kai).
They are a Council race within The Alliance and are considered an elder race. Most Elves who dwell largely with other races are a welcoming people, although they appear pompose and have a tendency to talk down to other races they are a well-meaning people. Like their ancient counterparts, elves create marvels of architecture, art, poem and song. Elven theaters and circus' are widley sought after by the aristocracy of The Alliance. Also like thier ancestors they have a prdigious talent with all that is arcane and mystical, demonstrating vast knowledge that they have gained over their near immortal life spans.
High Elves, Wood Elves and dark Elves are the most frequently found elves in Aenerion. Inhabiting large swathes of the continents of Aenerion and beyond, they have little contact with the Sea Elves and view them as little more than the now distant cousins that they have become. Shadow Elves or Shadar-kai are extreamly rare on the Material Plane as they prefer to stay in Shadowfell, helping keep back the terrors that inhabit that realm. Some have been known to come to the prime materal plane though for many reasons, some have come as messengers and envoys to their long distant kin and some have come to help wage war on the forces of evil that persist in their non-native planes.
