Demon

Demons are malevolent beings originating from the dark and chaotic plane of the Abyss. They are the embodiment of pure evil, forged from the souls of mortals who embraced wickedness during their lives. Upon death, these malevolent souls find themselves condemned to the infernal realms, where they take on a tangible form as demons. Their appearances vary widely, often depicted as grotesque and terrifying. Demons may have horns, bat-like wings, sharp teeth, and glowing eyes, embodying the darkest aspects of the mortal soul. They can range in size from small and impish to towering giants.   Demons grow in power the longer they reside in their home plane. This gives rise to a hierarchy among them, with the most potent demons becoming demon lords. These demon lords command legions of lesser demons and pose significant threats even to deities. Their abilities are formidable and diverse. Many demons can fly with their wings, breathe fire or acid, and possess the power to cast potent spells fueled by dark magic. Demons are the natural enemies of the gods, despite some achieving godhood themselves. Powerful demon entities like Orcus and Demogorgon wield godly powers to challenge and oppose the divine beings.
