Cosmology

The Cosmology is the vast collection of planes and realms that make up reality. What most would call the "known universe" was labeled as the "Material Plane." It held the world of Aeloria, the moon, the sun, and extended to the greater cosmos of stars and space. The Material Plane is also known by other names to it's inhabitants such as Midgard and Olam.

Inner Sphere

The Inner Sphere is the core of the multiverse, containing the Material Plane, its two mirror planes, and the Elemental Planes. It is the heart of existence, where the physical and elemental forces converge.

Material Plane

The material plane is the observable universe where most campaigns take place. It includes countless stars, planets, and other celestial bodies. Within this plane lies Aeloria, the primary world of adventure, containing diverse landscapes, civilizations, and magical phenomena. Aeloria is the focal point of the cosmos, where the influences of other planes are often felt

Mirror Planes

The mirror planes are realms that reflect aspects of the Material Plane, each with a unique saturation of reality.

Feywild

Te Feywild is a vibrant, magical plane mirroring the Material Plane. It is a realm of eternal twilight, lush forests, and enchanting landscapes, home to fey creatures such as elves, dryads, nymphs, centaurs, satyrs, pixies, and fairies. The Feywild is a place of whimsy and wonder, where the magic of nature flourishes.

Shadowfell

The Shadowfell is a dark, mirror plane to the Material Plane, representing decay and despair. It is a place of shadows and gloom, where undead and shadowy creatures dwell. The Shadowfell is a somber reflection of the world, a realm where the light is dimmed, and hope is scarce. This plane is often associated with death and oblivion.

Elemental Planes

The Elemental Planes are realms of pure elemental forces, each embodying one of the four classical elements.

Elemental Plane of Earth

A vast, solid realm of endless mountains, caverns, and subterranean wonders. Inhabited by earth elementals and creatures of stone.

Elemental Plane of Air

A boundless sky filled with floating islands and perpetual winds. Home to air elementals and flying creatures.

Elemental Plane of Fire

A realm of intense heat and raging flames, consisting of volcanoes, lava flows, and fiery creatures.

Elemental Plane of Water

An endless ocean of varying depths, filled with aquatic life and water elementals.

Astral Plane

Beyond the elemental planes lies the astral plane, an ethereal expanse of space and stars. It serves as the intermediate plane that souls traverse after death before reaching their final afterlife. The astral plane is inhabited by cosmic spirits, born from the stars and spawned by deities to guide souls to their destined planes.

Outer Planes

Beyond the Astral Plane lie the Outer Planes, comprising Heaven and the Underworld. These realms are the final destinations for souls based on their moral alignments.

Heaven

Heaven is the good-aligned domain of the gods, a realm of peace and order where good and neutral-aligned mortals are reborn as celestials. Heaven is broken into several layers, each ruled by a separate deity, and is a place of divine harmony.

The Underworld

The Underworld is divided into three distinct planes, each encased by the River of Blood   Hell - The realm of lawful evil, where lawful evil mortals are reborn as devils. Hell consists of nine layers, each ruled by a powerful archdevil, with Satan imprisoned in the deepest layer, the Lake of Fire.   The Abyss - The realm of chaotic evil, where chaotic evil mortals are reborn as demons. The Abyss is ruled by several demon lords, with the entire realm under the control of Malroth.   Abaddon - The realm of neutral evil, where neutral evil souls manifest as daemons. Abaddon is governed by many evil deities, including Goruk, Kormaush, Ogmauth, and Xevila, and is ruled by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Illithor, Zu'Gara, Dukaath, and Akathis.
