Our Sister of Life Lys (a.k.a. The Caretaker)
Description
Lys is the Goddess of Life and one of the Seven Sisters. She is also the Goddess of healing, growth, progress, and hope. Her followers tend to be of Neutral Good or Lawful Good alignment. She is one of the most popular goddesses, and her followers abhor war and killing, and her missionaries often act as peacekeepers and diplomats who will step in to try to peacefully resolve conflicts and wars before they start. Offerings are made to Lys when a baby is born, usually in the form of a memento of a dead relative. Some of her followers believe that by presenting their dead relative's mementos, their relative's soul will be reborn in the child's body.
Unlike her sister, Estrea, Lys is not eternal and can be killed. Emir has tried numerous times to kill Lys, as her death would mean the end of all life on Aellorah. However, Estrea is always by Lys' side, and would never allow Emir to harm her.
Lys is the patron goddess of Elves.

Lys has a very close bond with her sister Estrea, the Goddess of Death. Lys understands death is the natural progression of life and that one cannot exist without the other.
