Snow Island

Of the four islands included in the WinterWinds Isles this one is the smallest. Left unexplored due to its size and distance from the mainland, it was only only settled hundreds of years after the WinterWinds were.   When the exploration party first landed they assumed the gigantic frozen mountain to the north would be their focus. After their initial appraisal they decided it would take too much time to fully explore and turned their attention south. A couple days travel latter and the fissures were discovered.   Enormous scars of the earth stretching for thousands of kilometres running so deep it was rumoured to end in the underdark. Not long after a party was sent into these fissures a large deposit of Adamantine was discovered. Seeing the potential profit, the Merchants Guild were quick to establish a small port and a mining operation.
