Order of the Patient Soul
While every monk has their individual path they follow each is a part of the Order of the Patient Soul. Dedicated to meditation and finding inner harmony, people travel in great pilgrimages from across the world to visit the three temples dedicated to the ways of the monk. Each of these temples has a Grandmaster and together they form the triumvirate that dictates the operations of the order.
The temples were each founded at different times with differing teachings but were similar enough that they eventually merged to become the one order in the year 388. After the merge all teachers of the order offered the same lessons and teachings. These teachings became so revered that the leaders of different nations would travel themselves to the closest temple to learn from the masters themselves. A leader that was unwilling to make a pilgrimage themselves was often seen as unfit to lead and usually not long for the position.
