Bruckstone Fort
Purpose / Function
Bruckstone Fort was commissioned to be built as a major point of defence against the many raiding tribes of Akesh. Positioned at the exit to the Dreamer's Pass, anyone exiting would need to move directly pass the fort to enter the greater kingdom of Otros.
History
Construction started on Bruckstone in the year 881 and was finished three years later in 884. It was continuously manned from this point until 956, five years after the Akeshian tribes united, putting an end to the majority of the raids to the southern kingdoms. From that point only a small skeleton crew was positioned to keep the fort from deteriorating. In the year 1031 though the Plague knights attacked in force, easily taking control and have remained there since.
