Ak Tahji - Capitol of Akesh

In the north western edges of the Akeshian dessert, past the Seats of the Gods, lies the grand capitol of Akesh. Ak Tahji was built from the ground up with stolen money and goods purchased in unfavourable deals. The city is expansive and beautiful. A welcome reprieve to travelers that have passed through the dessert.    Previously nomadic tribes, Akeshians are new to the idea of settled life within cities. As such architecture is rough and emulates the makeshift shelters used at night. Buildings have large central rooms with high vaulted ceilings and are made from large slabs of sandstone. While the designs are simple, the people make up for it with beautiful art and colours added anywhere they can.   Buildings are painted bright colours to stand in the dull dessert and often have murals painted on the sides. Soft fabric died rich hues are used for beautiful clothes, as well as carpets and cushions for decoration. Jewellery is bright and intricate with some of the best jewlers coming from Ak Tahji.
