Night Troll

Few creatures are more feared in Anenu Etha than night trolls. Seemingly spawned from everything evil, these monsters do nothing but hunt for hapless victims to brutalize. When a night troll finds a victim, it eagerly slaughters them, usually taking time to make sure that the death is painful. They delight in their victims' suffering.   Occasionally, night trolls will decide to forgo dismemberment of their victims and abduct them. Abduction by a night troll is a terrible fate, being slowly transformed into one of their own. There is no known way to undo this transformation, though numerous studies, both mundane and magical, have been done on the matter.   Beyond these basic facts, little is known about night trolls as a species. In fact, night troll is less of a scientific classification and more of a catch-all category for horrid creatures of the night of all shapes and sizes.
