Fath Watchmountain
Baroness Fath "Watchmountain" Azinonol
Fath was born in Endlashed, the only daughter of Goden "Testedmansions" Okilmuthkat. She never knew her mother, who perished in childbirth, and her father, though loving, was often harsh on her. He was never abusive, but his requirements were strict, and he could be intimidating without realizing it.
When she reached working age Fath began work as a pump operator for Endlashed. She worked the pump for many years, but her heart was not in the work and the hours were long. At nights, when she had finally finished her work, she enjoyed visiting the local tavern and listening to conversations. She would occasionally join in, but usually only to break up fights or tell an occasional joke.
As her father aged, he was eventually appointed Baron of Gearshields, a mountain hall to the north east. At first Fath was excited for her father, but the work consumed him and soon his mental health began to decline. She rarely saw her father in those times, and the correspondence they did have was filled with mad rantings about mortality and the fleeting nature of life.
Eventually, her father perished, granting her the title of Lady of Gearshields. After witnessing her father's decline, however, she was reluctant to take that burden on herself. Noting that her friend, Muthkat had recently moved to Whippedtender under similar circumstances, she decided to join her.
