Edem Crazygloves
Born in 248 to the dwarf engineer Sibrek "Clinchedceiling" and an unknown mother, Edem was always an energetic dwarf. When she reached working age she began working in Heldbook as a glazer for a local potter. Unfortunately, Edem's energetic clumsiness made her prone to dropping things. After one year of glazing she packed up what possessions she had and moved to Mirrorfords.
The change of scenery did little to pacify Edem. She tried to find work as a presser, a butcher, and a cook before finally becoming a farmer in the mountain halls' underground Plump Helmet farms. She took to the work, and though she never gained an impressive level of skill, the underground farms provided her with a peaceful solitary place to spend her time.
This relatively peaceful life was spoiled when she received word that her absentee father had perished and she had been named Baroness of Fountainwrung. Edem had not realized that her father had been appointed Baron, and she did not know where Fountainwrung was. With no desire to follow in her father's footsteps, Edom decided to move far away to a fortress she had heard of named Whippedtender.
