Azymus
After the great revelation of Ettuna, arcane magic spilled into the continent of Aecenys and spread through several wellsprings that emerged from the chaos beneath. Unbeknownst to the other civilizations, especially the Corinian Empire, the elves of the Valorion Dominion took this moment as an opportunity to forge an amulet of great power. It incorporated the original magical that sprung forth after their ritual. It was untainted and pure and is said to be contain the very essence needed to transform a non-magical entity into one. This could range from a noble warrior donning the amulet and becoming a full fledged sorcerer, or it could infuse the inanimate with the arcane creating a unstoppable nonliving magical force. The elves of Tol Annun named the amulet Azymus. After the revelation, it is has not been seen for centuries. Many assume the amulet is just a myth, but there are the lorekeepers of Valorion Dominion who are rumored to know its whereabouts.
It is said the amulet passed many hands from the initial clerics who summoned Ettuna into Unum. The elves of course had a natural inclination to keep the amulet safe and protected, as it contained the power needed to not only drive back the Corinian Empire from their lands but also settle onto the continent of Aecenys itself. The elves were said to use this amulet as a conduit to amplify their magical powers against their enemies, making it extremely valuable to anyone who could wield its power effectively. By the time the Doom of Corinia occurred, many became scared of arcane magic, and the amulet was lost. Many assume it was corrupted by the fiendish invasion, but that is not true. It was in fact the Kingdom of Ardor who had come by the amulet, unsure of its true origin. They used it to defeat the wandering hordes of monsters at their border and establish themselves as a conduit of the arcane in the name of good.
