Tantur
Hard working, dilligent, humble. Seek justice and fairness, be kind and reasonable, speak soft, listen well, and learn from all around you. A dutiful people we are, caring for our neighbors and fellows, working together, building together. Society is the strength of all, for it hones everyone's skills and covers weaknesses of the individual. Such is the way those of Tantur blood would often be raised.
Your people are often known as Just Giants, or Gentle Titans. Yet moreso than a kindness or gentleness it is a deep respect for society and societal structures and their benefits, and to respect and appreciate that the strength of you and your fellow humanoids, ultimately, is that societal structuring. It allows you to build great monuments, settlements, cities, to farm and work to harness the bounty of nature in a way most any other creature could only dream of. The intelligence combined with the teamwork sapient beings are capable of is their greatest gifts.
You are a people that are in some ways an enigma to your contemporaries, given that culturally you have such strong values in regards to law and order, justice, and social structures, but ancestrally speaking, your people come from a society of disjointed city states with no real 'centralized' authority, but instead work as neighbors and cohabitants of the same ecosystem. For they do not understand that justice is much like the river, it explains itself inherently as it flows, it is not so difficult to realize what is reasonable, just, and orderly, when looking up and down stream to your neighbors living the same circumstances as yourself. It just requires a bit of logic, a little empathy, and a willingness to think outside your own self. What they don't understand is in the broad strokes, if you accept we are all one, we all want the same things more or less. We certainly all want the same opportunity, and desire to see the same evils never to occur.
Some might call you and your kind simple, others naive. Yet they cannot find a way to call you wrong.

Naming Traditions
Feminine names
Tantur names are, as noted, rather simple, however there is a unique structure of their given names nomenclature that must be mentioned. The only real gender based division that can be seen is that names that end in double consonants seem to be masculine, and they have feminine equivalents where an 'a' is tacked onto the end, which seems to be the only difference, otherwise any given name is unisex. So for example of such names;
Example Male names: Bell, Dunn, Patt, Lorr
Equivalent Feminine names: Bella, Dunna, Patta, Lorra

Equivalent Feminine names: Bella, Dunna, Patta, Lorra
Unisex names
Most names, barring the mentioned description in regards to double consonants versus ending in the letter 'a' following a double consonant, are unisex names. A few of the names I encountered on my travels include;
Example Given Names: Grun, Holt, Karn, Hala, Cor, Wen, Eve, Ada

Family names
The Tantur people are a soft spoken, kindly people, despite what some might initially percieve given their size. They are no simpletons, but prefer to speak plainly, without the flowery excess of some of the linguistic artistry in other tongues and that can show no more clearly than in their naming conventions. Traditional Tantur names, family names included, are oft simple things, simple words, easy to pronounce, perhaps tied to the environment, perhaps tied to professional heritage, that is a family trade. Others might simply be common tongue spellings and approximations of words from the Joten language, their own tongue. Some examples I experienced on my travels are noted below;
Example Family Names: Bark, Crow, Gull, Adis, Trent

Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The Tantur people are unique in many ways, the least of which seems to be they were spared the taint of the Void somehow, touched by Aetherwylle as much as the other Ascended children were, despite initally likely being descendents of Jotens if not Jotens themselves, which given all other groups and peoples of titanic blood fell to the cursing of manna, becoming twisted feral beasts, shadows of what they might once have been, they are a unique people amongst the Ascended children. They are soft spoken, and well spoken, speaking the common trade tongue of Valarian with ease. Most can speak Halish, given how closely they trade with Susma and how close the two nations are as allies. Their ancestral language however, the language they all learn at home and amongst their own kin is that of Joten, the tongue of giants, the language of titans.
The Joten tongue, even when spoken by these kind and soft voiced individuals, is oft described as the low rumbles of the earth, as if something large is moving, every syllable seeming to shake the world, every word leaving a deep lingering echo in the mind of those whom listen. Yet it is a rhythmic language, not uncomfortable to speak, a simple tempo and tone, not necessarily unlike a subtle drum beat.

Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Tantur people see their bodies as an expression of self, perhaps something that came to be from the visual cues of their ancestral homeland, the brilliant colors and display structures of the widely varied fauna of the Chora Jungles. Tattoos, piercings and other forms of body art and modification are not uncommon, these utilized as more permanent forms of decoration, oft marking important memories, life milestones or other moments of importance or memories. Beyond that however, decorative skin art, painting, dyeing for festivities and more are far from uncommon, as is decorative dress, complete with feathers, colored patterns and more. Decoration is beauty, a celebration of one's own form and in that there is attractiveness. Hair styling and accessorizing with everything from bits of bone, dyed totems, odd trinkets or feathers is seen similarly.
Gender Ideals
The Tantur do hold some gender ideals/roles societally speaking, tied to caretaking versus building for example. Men are the builders of society and the home, generally, that is part of their expectation. Women, alternatively are oft taught the basics of medicine, as well as food preparation. But matters such as foraging, hunting, fishing, boat making and maintenance, law and order, at least the basics, as well as any given profession there is far less 'gender ideals' tied to that outside of medicine and construction.
Courtship Ideals
For those of Tantur blood and raised traditionally, courtship is a simple matter of bringing each other joy and having enough shared experiences that leave positive emotions. There is no heavily romanticized 'courtship' ideal, in fact even romantic relationships are far less structured and strict. One can be joined to as many partners are are willing to consent in fact, a unique aspect some might find odd, especially when the normal primary diety of the Tantur people and of Chorathian society is Deat-Kra, the god of Law, Justice and Order.
Relationship Ideals
However within that, there lies the deep belief that it takes a village. A family should not be but two adults, such is not proper. The Tantur people understand beyond all else that the sapient species did not rise to be where they are as individuals. They did so as a collective. As societies and this is reflected in their relationship values. Tantur are interesting romantic partners because depending where they come from and how traditionally they were raised, particularly those from Kang-Chorath, polyamory is normal. Not only is it normal, its sensible. A typical traditional Tantur family will be three, four, even as many as six adults, intermingled, all bonded by oath, married to most people's view, to each other. The children will be raised by all, the partners intermingle romantically, and the household work together. Traditional Tantur families therefore are often quite large.
Because of this, being romantically involved with a Tantur individual can create unique relationship dynamics and discussions, it is not for the faint of heart to be sure. It is just such a shock from many other people's and culture's traditional way of thinking after all.

"It is worthy of note that a lot of this view makes a lot of sense when you consider it from the perspective of rearing children especially when we look at most of recorded history. In the last century or two yes, life expectancy and general health has thankfully been rising, however before that relatively brief window of time, and even still now, death is not something anyone on Valerick should be unfamiliar with. We inhabit a harsh world, a dangerous realm, and with that comes certain valid concerns in regards to child-rearing. Amongst the Tantur those concerns are far reduced by this structure and behavior because should one of the partners die, it is not nearly as devastating a blow to the structural balance of the family unit. It is of course still tragic and emotionally devastating, however unlike monogamy as it is practiced by some other ancestries and cultures, which is becoming more and more prevalent the more and more individualistic some cultures and peoples are becoming, this view does not leave a single parent devastated with the loss of their one love, broken hearted and now needing to lift the weight of caretaking the whole family alone.
Instead it is a blow softened by the presence of other partners, other loves, and though you all suffer the pain of that emotional loss, your connection allows you to be together, to work through the pain, to support each other through it in a way friends and even blood family cannot offer, nor can neighbors, no matter how kind hearted they are. Beyond this the logistics of that loss are far less devastating as well, instead of doubling the workload and stress on one other person, it is far less slack to be picked up, and it is spread amongst more than one person. So as odd as it might sound, when one thinks about it objectively, assuming all things are equal, there is a sensibility to this sort of cultural structure and world view.

Tantur as Characters
Traits: Humanoid, Tantur
Age: The Tantur people sit right around the middle, not as short lived as humans nor as long lived as elves. Those of titan blood measure their lives in centuries, the oldest known having died well into their third century of life. Three centuries, give or take a decade or two is generally accepted as a pretty good baseline for their average lifespan, should they die of natural causes of course, always a qualifier one needs to consider. This longer lifespan, as well as how they approach child rearing and culturally just life in general can seem to give them a sort of simple, down to earth wisdom and more expanded world view than some might first expect from someone who likely is not as studious as others.
Hit Points: 10
Size: Large
Speed: 30 feet
Attributes
Languages:
All Tantur start play fluent in Joten and Valarian, along with any other languages they may get from culture, heritage, or background. Furthermore they may pick languages equal to their Intelligence Modifier (so long as its positive) to begin play speaking. These languages must be reasonably common/prevalent from the region they came from or are currently living within.
Large Size:
The inverse issue of gnomes and halfmen, you will find unless in Kang-Chorath very likely that weapons and armors will cost you 1.5 times as much, for they require more material. Furthermore weapon damage dice should be scaled one step higher to account for this size increase. Ranged weapons should also increase their range increments by 1/4 (rounded to the appropriate 5 foot increment of course). Furthermore this should (though GMs and players can decide how much they keep track of this or not) likely hinder you in some situations depending on where you happen to be, for example getting in and out of structures, that sort of thing. Furthermore ranged attacks against you are always at +2 to hit, you are simply a bigger target, you stand out.
Reach: You are large size, you count all melee weapon profiles as if they have 5 feet Reach trait. This is additive so if you are using a weapon that already has the Reach trait, you add 5 feet to its distance of reach.
Hardy: Due to your bulk, you are a seemingly naturally hardy individual. Should you have to make a Fortitude save against toxins, poison exposure or other such poison based effects, you have +2 to the save.
Average Height: 7'6"-9' (2.28-2.75 metres)
