Storming Shroud

A dark cloud crackling with energy, seeming to just form all about the magister, a dangerous threat indeed. I highly recommend avoiding it if that is what you see. That shroud is no mere storm cloud in image. It is quite electrifying.

Effect

Basic Effects: Weaving the flows of Aeir, the Opal manna crackling all about you, you swiftly draw in enough manna to darken the air around you, a black, aggressive looking storm cloud surrounding you, dull crackling flashes of opal light occassionally lighting up its edges. This grants total cover to anyone attempting to establish sightlines through it, or to anyone seeking to see targets within it. Indeed those within the AOE, with only the magister being an exception, treat everything outside the affected area as having total cover as well. This shroud moves with you. Every round creatures you deem are hostile towards you that start their turn within the area of this shroud, must make an Agility Defensive Test. If they fail, they take 5d6 Lightning damage and are Stunned for one round. If they succeed, they take half damage and are not stunned.

Conductive: If the target creature is naturally made of some sort of metal (a construct perhaps), or is wearing predominantly metal clothing (a warrior in full chainmail, a knight in full plate, etc) the damage becomes 5d10.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: The damage increases by 1d6 or 1d10 as appropriate and the radius increases by 5 feet.

Tier III Effects: the damage increases by 1d6 or 1d10 as appropriate and the radius increases by 5 feet.

Manifestation

Giselle cursed as she heard the crackling and howling of the wind, looking around as she desperately reloaded. It was dark and damp, and the damned kuo-toa were all around. "Where is that bloody gnome!?" she cried out, moving swiftly from cover with her emburley revolver, pumping two rounds into one of the foul fish-men, one in the head, one in the chest. Joaki laughed loudly at the desperation in woman's voice.

"Pay attention lass, it didn't get darker in here for no reason. Oris be down there in the midst of the thickest of em. He's having a wee party in his own personal thunderstorm. So find yer courage, and follow us if ye wish ta live. That storm cloud will fit us all, lets go!!" the dwarven warrior snarled, gesturing briefly with his shield arm to the dark cloud some sixty feet away, surrounding by a dozen or so fishmen, with four or five more corpses of them strewn around the cavern floor near it, as it moved calmly and steadily towards them.
