Spell Scorch
Every magister of any of the eight orders is capable of a mere counter-weaving. However Pyromancers, those magisters of the Ruby Order? Well the most powerful among them bring an entirely more powerful, albiet more risky, method of breaking the arcane arts of their enemies.
Effect
Basic Effects: Reacting to the motion in the Aether, and the constructing of a spell-form, you swiftly weave Doitean aggressively, the strength and quickness of your intellect weaponized, as you drive a significant amount of Ruby Manna into your oppositions spell-form they are attempting to construct. Focusing all your passion and effort on ignition, the release of all that energy via heat and light in the form of a flame, seeking to burn them when they begin pulling the spell-form forth from the Aether. If the spell your target was weaving has a TN equal to or lower than your weaving of Spell-Scorch, Spell-Scorch works unopposed, and the target's spell is halted, they do not successfully finish casting it. Instead they take 2d6 fire damage+1d6/point of difference between the two spell-forms Casting TNs, and are now inflicted with the Ablaze condition.
If the spell-form you are seeking to interrupt and stop was being woven at a higher TN than your weaving of Spell-Scorch, you must make a Power Defensive Test against their caster TN. If you succeed, you do manage to stop the spell, and it works as above. If you fail, the spell form is still interrupted and countered, however there is a manna backlash upon you. Instead of your target taking fire damage, you take 1d8+1d8/point of difference between their spell-form TN and your own. This damage is of the appropriate type to the manna they were using when you interrupted their spell-weaving, (so for example, if used to stop a spell weave of a Sapphire Magister, the damage would be cold damage.). If you interrupted someone wielding Void Magick, that is just grabbing all varieties of manna and mixing them regardless of the dangers, the damage is simply Force damage, and can not be mitigated in any way.
Firestorm: If your target was already afflicted with the Ablaze Condition, you count the casting TN of your Spell-Scorch weave as one tier higher (or at +5, if you were weaving at Tier III already) than what it actually is for purposes of all math and comparisons this spellform requires.

Side/Secondary Effects
Tier II Effects: This spell-form is unique in that its effects are heavily based upon its Casting TN, so due to this, the scaling is built in to the raised difficulty in casting.
Tier III Effects: Again the scaling is tied directly to Casting TN, and as such, the increases in effects are established therein.

Manifestation
"Sensing the shifting within the Aether, Meriel rapidly located the ork shaman, the beast in the wild throes of spell-casting, pulling in manna of all colors wildly, without any care for the potential consequences. That would not do at all. Keeping her focus tight, her rapier moving fast to defend herself, her left hand came up, her fingers moving with lightning speed. They jabbed out, moving in complex motions like a conductor might communicate with an orchestra. In the Aether she felt the ignition, and smiled with great satisfaction as the shaman shrieked with terror and rage as flames engulfed the creature from seemingly nowhere."
