Entropic Assault

At their most powerful, a magister of the Amethyst can, in an act of wild desperation, attempt to save a life. But to do so, they must trade a life for a life.

Effect

Basic Effects: Reacting almost on instinct, and wielding Entropy in perhaps its ultimate act of symbiosis and ability for a magister of the Amethyst, you draw all the Lobhadh from a creature that is dying in front of your eyes, and fling it wildly at some other creature in range, in hopes of somehow creating an equilibrium to save the initial target. This spell form targets two creatures in very different ways. The first is the dying. This spell takes all the damage they have suffered in the form of raw Lobhadh, and it is flung at another target.

Against that second target, the victim, this is a ranged spell attack. If it hits, they take necrotic damage equal to the maximum wounds of the dying creature you targeted initially. If this brings the victim to 0 wounds, they immediately die, and the initial dying target is brought back to 0 wounds, stable but unconscious. If it misses, you, the caster take the damage, though this can still bring the initial dying target back if you drop to 0 hp and die. However if you survive, or the victim you are trying to hit survives, the initial target must make a Toughness Defensive Test, and if they fail, they still die. If they pass, they are unconscious at 0 wounds but stable.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: Range increases to 75 feet

Tier III Effects: Range increases to 100 feet.

Manifestation

There are no real recorded instances of this spell-form being utilized, or at the very least, magisters do not like to remember or recall events that made them so desperate as to try something so very unstable.
