Adarus, the Planet
Adarus is a habitable "goldilocks" planet that sustains a vast, complex ecosystem and multiple biomes like Tellus (Earth).
Most flora and fauna species are genetically similar but still unique. Homo sapiens evolved on the planet some millennia ago, but another humanoid species, the chimeras, are one of the precursor sentient races and still exist to this day. An exact population ratio of humans-to-chimeras cannot yet be confirmed, but it's estimated that both of these two species are roughly equal in number. There are also other known bipedal sapient beings that share Adarus as a home: among them are the nephilim (stylized in lowercase).
Multiple, primarily human-dominant, civilizations have been identified across the planet's surface, but technological and industrial progress has been slow and considered to be in an infantile stage of development. There is no known significant heavy industry or textile manufacturing, thus there are practically no traceable amounts of industry-caused (or compatible) air, water, or ground pollution according to initial ecological surveys conducted by Odysseus-1.
Temperate regions of the planet between the poles and equator enjoy four rotating seasons like our own—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
