Mayu
A simple trading town on the border between the Reapers Dunes and the Scorched Lands. The inhabitants deal in the ores, metals and gemstones mined further into the scorched lands. Only the hardiest races can endure the heat in this area so the inhabitants are mainly red, brass and gold dragonborn as well as gerudo. The people of the city live humble but fulfilling lives.
Or they did. Ever since the elevation of the newly anointed high minister the taxes incurred on villages like this have made life extremely difficult. The people have very little money, the capitals soldiers have seized most of their trade routes and soldiers take most of the good quests so not even adventurers can make a living here so most have left. Because of this the miners and traders don't have much if any protection.
Government
The people are lead by a choice group of wealthy merchants.

A Gold's shine merchants guild is present in the city as well as the Dragon's tail adventurers guild.

The village lies on the border between the Scorched Lands and the Reaper's dunes. The Water's end road passes through the village.
