Ad-Atla

The native home of the Sheppecs and the Altans, this continent is bountiful in food and resources. It's a diverse continent with savannahs and swamps to the south. Plains and meadows in the middle. And colder biomes to the north. Cambriene and Adma-Atla split the continent in two, Adma-Atla to the east, and Cambriene to the west.   The Queendom of Cambriene, also known as Cambriene, is a matriarchal and isolationist Queendom that is removed from the rest of the world. They are keen to stay to themselves, but when it comes to Adma-Alta, they get defensive. Cambriene is undergoing a massive change, and it's not looking great. Ever since the previous Queen, Hotoria Harja CombedCloud VI, disappeared, the queendom has been in the hands of her younger brother, King Alexander VI, and her step-mother, Queen Regent Alezandra Baine CombedCloud. The throne in the hands of a foreigner and a child King has put the people more on edge than they were before. Cambrians are uncertain, unsettled, and scared for their future. Queen Regent Alezandra is scared and worried about hers and her son's future and has planned for an emergency escape to her family's home in Honaven for years now. Following Hotoria's life, we get a just as desperate story. She is trapped behind Hyperion's strict travel restrictions for five years. She's been plotting a way to get back to Cambriene, but her situation looks hopeless. Unless something big happens, like war or unrest, she will likely be stuck for the rest of her life.   The Adma-Altan Empire, also known as Adma-Atla, is class-based, militarized, and strict people who believe it is their divine right and duty to absorb others into their culture. They are particularly fond of raiding and starting skirmishes with their neighboring country, Cambriene. The primary fighting force of the Altan army, the Modra, are starting to mutiny and are calling for help from their families. Soldiers, units, and even entire battalions deserted in the middle of the night and killed their Altan overseers. The Modra have also contacted their fellow conscripts, the Piglins. They have been planning and creating underground railways to Cambriene and lands beyond for months, if not years. The Piglins themselves have been organizing independently of the Modra, and are planning ways to take back their lands and kick the Altans out for good.
