Goblin Idioms
Goblins by nature are plant-based creatures, and thus most of their idioms are based with this in mind.

| His voice was like a worm in the flesh in my ears. | Incredibly irritating or painful. |
| The sower shall become the reaper, don't you worry. | What goes around, comes around. |
| She's talking rot again; don't listen to her. | To talk nonsense or to lie or to overexaggerate |
| You're going to have to strike at the root of the government before we can make any real change. | To attack the most crucial element of something. |
| It was unfortunate, but he rotted out. | To die or get to a stage of near-death past recoverability. |
| You really grabbed at the thorns, didn't you? | To take the most direct route through something that typically needs caution. |
| If we don't stop the rot, her habits could hurt the others. | To prevent damage / loss in a bad situation |
| I'm pretty sure you're leading me up the garden path. | To deceive or lie to someone |
| She's just a peony, give her time. | To be slow at doing something, to be a slowpoke |
| Hey! Daisy! Get down! | To be extremely visible or apparent, especially when not supposed to be |
| Slow down, you'll split if you aren't careful. | A reference to goblins becoming so large they split open- To overindulge in something for it to become a hinderance |
| Just... water it down, okay? It's for the best. | To phrase something nicely, to use a euphemism |
