Blackrock Foundries
Blackrock Foundries was founded by the dwarven Blackbeard clan whom survived the war. Blackrock Foundries unified the Sundered Isles under their banner, creating a powerful and prosperous group of archipelago nations. They formed a consortium of mining guilds, merchant guilds, and blacksmithing guilds, who pooled their resources and expertise and spreaded their services inland. They developed advanced techniques and technologies to refine and forge their materials, creating weapons, armor, machines, and artifacts of unparalleled quality and power.
Blackrock Foundries expanded their operations to other regions, establishing branches and subsidiaries across the world. They also ventured into new fields, such as banking and investments, using their vast network and capital to penetrate the market and influence the economy. They became known for their expansionist dreams and their relentless pursuit of their craft, often to the detriment of the environment and the local communities.
Blackrock Foundries' remained most active in Myn Torith, the ancient dwarven city that is built around an active volcano. That volcano provides much of the energy and heat needed for the foundries. The city is a marvel of engineering and architecture, combining ancient dwarven traditions and modern innovations.
