Styrgians

"Your father and I had fled from Styrgia, along with the rest of the Ayremond Clan of the Riverlands. We were not interested in fighting against the bastion that is Lyndewn. It's a war that cannot be won - and I do hope that our fellow families and clans will understand that, one day. Styrgia is destined to belong to them,"

- Chieftess Ailios Ayremond, speaking to her children.
Styrgians are the people that come from the land of Styrgia. Whilst most of these people are humans, there is plenty of other species that are considered Styrgians. Whilst the orcs that exist northbound, near the equator, have little interest in the people of Styrgia, some stragglers from outside of their regions have migrated into the lands, residing between the steep mountains. Half-Orcs are the second most common species found within Styrgia, followed by elves, goliaths, and dwarves. Dwarves exist in small bursts of people. Their people reside within the eastern regions, where the stratovolcano, Mt. Terminus resides. The base of the volcano is home to some small communities and clans made up of dwarves and humans, who's skin have developed thicker layers in order to deprive the pain of heat. They are capable of dipping their hand into boiling water, and receive only minor burns. Other than these small communities, Mt. Terminus is considered the most eastern point of Styrgia, as no known settlements or people live on the eastern side. It leads, eventually, into the southern expanse of the desert that borders Erialla. Rhazaadia, in fact, completely avoided Mt. Terminus in her conquests, meaning that the Styrgian people had only considered Lyndewn to be a threat. The western riverlands were predominantly held by human populations, mainly coming from agricultural backgrounds. In contrast, the north held mountainous regions, where the Orcs and Humans co-existed. The South is considered to be the home of wood elves, those that live in deep forests, and rely on themselves, alone.
