Kalashtar
The Kalashtar are a race of humans with dark skin, dark hair, and vibrantly colored eyes. Having descended from a long-forgotten sect of humans, the Kalashtar forge their empire in the Northwestern reaches of Khafringa. Beyond their simple physical differences to other humans, all Kalashtar hold within them a spirit from the ethereal plane: a Quori, spirits of dreams. The Kalashtar, due to this union, do not dream but receive messages and premonitions from their bonded spirit. This bond has granted the Kalashtar race great arcane knowledge and divination magic, which they use as both a method and an excuse to conquer other kingdoms.
