Yasbelflower

The Yasbelflower is a plant endemic to the island of Thule, where they grow on the meadows of elysia, lush green meadows at the shore of a frozen island heated by volcanic activity.    The Yasbelflower grows up to 20cm in hight, with one big bright red blossom, dotted with purple triangles. From the stem there are four leaves protruding, each the shape of an egg, shimmering in a dark emerald green.    Yet absolutly beautiful, the Yasbel is one of Aars most poisenous plants. Its the favourite food of the unicorns that live here, the Yasbel and the unicorns are in a constant competition - the unicorns are growing more resistant to the poison, so the flowers produce even more...    The poison attacks the guts of the poor creature that makes the terrible mistake to eat them. Once swallowed the poison will start to dissolve the guts and will make a terrible cocktail of poisenous acid and the contents of the victims guts that will eat their way to sunlight within a few hours.    But if used in an incredible small amount, the poison is used as medicine to get rid of all kinds of parasites or to threat fungal infections.
