Gongbe's Debris Threatens Global Extinction; Worst is Stopped by Ascended Dragon

Baffled and unbelieving gods dismiss the possibility of a whole moon actually collapsing, before getting into petty arguments of who's job it was to deal with or when it was in who's jurisdiction. Their argument pushes too long, but a ascended dragon sacrifices his life in order to break the largest debris before it makes impact. The worst is avoided, but still severe damage is caused by the falling debris - entire coastlines washed away in tides, nations felled in craters, and more. The sacrifice 'resurrects' the ascended dragon as a god - Tjyimlejy.
