Once a mortal ordthay king, he sought the aid of Emrul in order to save his kingdom from the ravages of famine, drought, and war. In the end, Szaifudrus went back against his deal with Emrul, and was turned into a monster and imprisoned within a maze made of his kingdom as punishment for being the cause of magic coming freely into the hands of mortal kind.
