Brástaath is the Drylvuian God of Ice, Calmness, & Endurance. He is the fourth of Bukrkry†. Once the wise leader of many monestaries, he has since vanished from Aanrah.

Description

Appearance

Brástaath often is depicted as a large white four-legged dragon covered in thick white fur. He is often shown with horns, teeth, claws, and spikes of pure ice.
Sometimes Brástaath is depicted in his humanoid form as a wise older man with long white hair, usually wearing a assortment of animal pelts.

Personality

Brástaath was known for being calm and wise, as his domain suggests. He was said to have all the patience in the world, even with the most troublesome of apprentices or the angriest of foes.

Powers & Domain

Brástaath had mastery over ice and snow, with the ability to cause things to flash freeze and for temperatures to plummet. He could shape ice and snow at will, using it for both construction, defense, and offense. He was said to also be able to calm even some of the most furious foes with his presence alone.

History

Brástaath was the fourth born child of Bukrykry. The last known confirmed record of Brástaath was in 2029 B3 / 6930A. He has since been considered missing, and many fear that he might be deceased.

Religion & Dogma

Brástaath was followed a vast variety of races beyond just dragons. Known for being able to be found near either pole, many monestaries were once set up on the edges of the inhospitable northern and southern shores for monks and devoutes of Brástaath. Followers of Brástaath were dedicated often to peace and peace-keeping, focusing on diplomacy and mediation in the world around them. They strove to minimize conflict and combat, and the best followers were known for being as calm and unshakeable as their deity.
In the modern eras since Brástaath's disappearence, his cult has greatly dwindled. Few of the monestaries still stand, but a few long-lived members who once studied under Brástaath remain to pass on his knowledge and teachings.

Deiahdrahl†

Brother; Enemy
Brástaath and Deiahdrahl saw each other as mortal enemies, with domains that conflicted fiercly on every front. Deiahdrahl saw Brástaath as a weakling, and was considered the first on Deiahdrahl's list to slay when he grew strong enough. Brástaath simply avoided his more aggressive brother, hoping that Deiahdrahl would simply never reach the stage of trying to kill him.
Brástaath is still unsure if he'd prefer that Maholdymyndr had lost the battle with Deiahdrahl or not, but he feels no sympathy for his brother's death.

Droontastah†

Brother; Close Friend
Brástaath and Droontastah were close companions, sharing many similar outlooks on the world and their followers. Though their beliefs differed, the two enjoyed philosophical debates and exchanging practices and experiences, and often encouraged their followers to spend time at the other's monesteries.
Brástaath was distraught at the inability to find Droontastah, and though he does not want to think of it, is the firmest in believing that Droontastah is, in fact, dead.

Jodiirook

Brother; Friend
Brástaath isn't as close to Jodiirook as he was to Droontastah, but the two are still friends. Jodiirook enjoys collecting stories from Brástaath, though is much less interested in the cultivation of his followers or in his beliefs as Droontastah might be. The two have a firm pact with each other in the looming possibility that Maholdymyndr killed Droontastah, in order to survive.

Maholdymyndr

Brother; Enemy
Brástaath and Maholdymyndr despites each other. Like Deiahdrahl, Maholdymyndr finds Brástaath to be a weakling, and not at all a threat. Brástaath hates Maholdymyndr's aggressive, dominating personality, and though he does not wish for conflict Maholdymyndr's continued expansion has pushed Brástaath into considering offensive actions in order to survive.
