Reinald's ascension to the head of one of the most powerful families in one of the most powerful kingdoms has been highly unheard of as Reinald was a bastard son of his father the previous head of House Sifflet.
Before his ascension to the throne as King of Aminum was known as Black Iron Reinald, a renowned fighter of ignoble birth who rose to prominence following his victory in the Peasant's Melee during the Grand Tournament of 1102.
